Care Details……
Meals: We serve meals at
least three meals a day: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner. Snacks are
served as desired and needed. We accommodate any special diet on
medical advice or if requested by the resident.

Laundry/Housekeeping: We provide bedding and
linen. We do personal laundry, laundered weekly, unless the
appropriate care of a resident requires more frequent laundering.
Rooms are cleaned daily. Clean towels are available daily.
Personal Care Services: We provide bathing and
dressing assistance. A hairdresser is available at the resident’s
expense. Tooth, hair and denture care will be provided daily.
Medication: Prescription and over-the-counter
medication brought in by or for the resident are kept in a locked
cabinet and accessed only by staff members. Medication is provided
through the Family or area Pharmacies. Resident is liable for all
cost of medications.
Daily Activities: Many activities occur on a
regular basis for the enjoyment of the residents, such as: Games,
Newspaper, Movies, Music, Gardening, Walks, Exercise, Sharing
Current Events and Socializing
Special Events: Birthdays are celebrated with
a special meal, a birthday cake, families and friends. Holidays are
always celebrated. Decorating for the holidays is one of the
activities enjoyed. Family and friends are always invited to join in
the fun.
Observation and Reporting: All changes in the
condition or the behavior of the residents are charted and then
reported to the family, physician or POA/guardian. Each resident has
a charting/medical record / personal information file. These files
are kept confidential.
First Aid/CPR-Trained Staff: Trained staff is
available at all times. Illnesses or injuries are dealt with
immediately and reported to the physician, family members or
guardian.
Advanced Directives: At the resident’s option,
an Advance Directive form will be made available. The signed copy
will be kept in the chart and followed. 911 is always called in case
of emergency, and the Advance Directive is given to the Emergency
Medical Team.
